Welcome! I’m Saurav Singh, a dedicated Robotics and Artificial Intelligence researcher, currently completing my Ph.D. at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). My work sits at the intersection of robotics, machine learning, and human-robot collaboration, where I strive to make intelligent systems more adaptable and responsive to human needs.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve focused on developing cutting-edge technologies that enhance the interaction between humans and robots. My research delves into areas like reinforcement learning, multimodal fusion, and human-aware decision-making, all aimed at advancing the capabilities of robots in complex, dynamic environments. One of my primary goals is to bridge the gap between human intuition and robotic precision, making human-robot teams more effective and efficient.
My Ph.D. research centers on adaptive human-robot teaming, where I explore how robots can learn to collaborate more intuitively with humans. This includes developing reinforcement learning algorithms that consider human behaviors and intentions, creating systems that are not just reactive but predictive and adaptive in real-time. By blending insights from human factors, artificial intelligence, and robotics, I aim to contribute to the next generation of collaborative robots capable of seamless integration into human environments.
In addition to my research, I’ve had the opportunity to mentor students, collaborate with international researchers, and present my work at leading conferences. My experience spans both academia and industry, where I’ve tackled challenges ranging from multimodal data fusion in aerial imagery to designing human-aware decision-making systems for shared autonomy in robots.
I’m deeply passionate about the potential of AI and robotics to transform industries and improve lives.
